35 Hours of Giving 2025 is May 5–6, 2027! How can YOU get involved?
Whether you’re a nonprofit participating in 35 Hours of Giving, a supporter who wants to fundraise for an organization you care about, a business interested in supporting the campaign, a board member, or someone looking to give or volunteer, there’s a place for you in 35 Hours of Giving!
Nonprofits
To participate in 35 Hours of Giving, your organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, city/county government, or public school and hold an endowment fund at the Capital Region Community Foundation. Participating nonprofits receive access to campaign resources, training, and tools to help make the most of their 35 Hours campaign.
P2P Fundraisers
Want to do more than make a gift to your favorite participating nonprofit? Become a P2P fundraiser! You’ll create your own fundraising page connected to the organization you care about and share 35 Hours of Giving with your friends, family, coworkers, and other people in your network. No fundraising experience is needed, and you can set your own goal and make the experience your own.
Businesses & Sponsors
Businesses can help make 35 Hours of Giving possible by sponsoring the campaign or supporting a participating nonprofit. Your support helps create opportunities for local nonprofits to build their endowments and strengthen their communities for the long term.

Donors
Want to give back to your community and support an organization you care about? 35 Hours of Giving is a great opportunity to make a gift that helps build a nonprofit’s endowment and provides long-term support for its work.
Search for a participating nonprofit by organization name or cause, learn more about their work, and make a gift during 35 Hours of Giving.
Volunteers
Looking for a way to get involved beyond making a gift? Some participating nonprofits may have volunteer opportunities connected to 35 Hours of Giving. Not every organization will have volunteer opportunities available, but you can find out by visiting their giving profile.
Search for a participating nonprofit and check their profile to see if they’re looking for volunteers.
Board Members
Board members can play an important role in helping their organization make the most of 35 Hours of Giving. You can make a gift, reach out to people in your network, share campaign messages, serve as a P2P fundraiser, or help your organization get the word out.
